/ SmartTUBE - Troubleshooting / Banners and recommendations are not displayed

Banners and recommendations are not displayed

If you have configured banners and recommendations in Admin UI, but they are not displayed in the client application, restart the application. If the problem persists:

 

  1. Make sure that the cache contains actual data. To do this, make a data request to SmartTUBE Cache Server:  /api/v1/userfeed/items for recommendations and /api/api/v1/userfeed/banners for banners. You can send the request from a browser.
  2. In Admin UI, make sure that:
    - the validity period for the banners and recommendations has not expired
    - the validity period of the referenced content has not expired
    - banner images have been added to Admin UI and are available at the specified URL
