Can I provide IPTV and OTT services without SmartMEDIA?
Without the SmartMEDIA system, you will be able to provide the “live broadcasting” service for IPTV subscribers (multicast).
You will not be able to (unless you have other hardware or software for these tasks):
- record the broadcasting (for “Pause”, “Delayed Viewing” and other services)
- add content to mobile and other OTT devices
