August 15, 2012. Once again SmartLabs is going to take part in one of the world's largest international tradeshows, IBC2012 held annually in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. This year, the tradeshow will run September 7 - 11.

Following a multi-year tradition, the International Broadcasting Convention (IBC) gathers more than 1,300 television industry companies from around the world to demonstrate the latest developments in media entertainment. Over 5 days of the exhibition, it is attended by more than 50,000 people including major investors from various countries.

At IBC 2012, SmartLabs will showcase its unique cloud based project for Rostelecom, Russia's largest telecommunications operator. As a result of the project, Rostelecom’s subscribers got access to a complete range of advanced interactive services. Under the project, SmartLabs created an end-to-end platform to provide IPTV and OTT services to the operator's subscribers throughout Russia.

Moreover, the exhibition visitors will undoubtedly enjoy a new family of STBs, SmartLabs SML-4x4. It combines more powerful hardware architecture with a yet smaller footprint and new enclosure design. The new STB family includes both IPTV and hybrid models. The main out of many distinctions of the new models is the capability to support next-generation user interfaces. The new version of the interfaces is also featured on the company's stand: SmartLabs developers have made them ever more rapid, easy-to-use and visually appealing.

SmartLabs stand is open throughout the exhibit hours, and our representatives are always happy to answer your questions and provide all the extra information you may need.

Looking forward to seeing you at IBC2012, Connected World Zone, stand 14.321.
