Croatian Operator Optima Telekom will Migrate to the New TV Platform from SmartLabs

September 3, 2019

SmartLabs will deliver the migration to the latest version of the SmartTUBE 5 platform for the Croatian operator Optima Telekom.

Migration to SmartTUBE 5 will open up access to state-of-the-art interactive features and bring together the entire pool of subscriber devices, from various set-top box manufacturers, with a refreshed look and feel. All Optima Telekom subscribers will enjoy even better, easy to use and agile interfaces from SmartLabs as soon as the migration is finished.

The first phase of the project involves the migration of subscribers and their set-top boxes including set-top boxes of recently acquired local operator H1, from their legacy solution to SmartTUBE 5. The performance of these legacy STBs is planned to be monitored by Optima Telekom’s SmartCARE, quality of service and analytics solution.

“Optima Telekom is a long-time customer of SmartLabs. As new business needs emerge with growth, subscriber expectations also expand over time. With SmartLabs solutions, the operator can easily meet the challenges through constantly enhanced functionality of our products and promptly respond to market changes,” SmartLabs CEO Mikhail Grachev says.
