Brazilian Città Telecom to use Smartlabs cloud transcoding

SmartLabs, the leading provider of multi-screen solutions for video streaming, today announces that Brazilian ISP Città Telecom has chosen a cloud NVIDIA-based SmartMEDIA Transcoder to provide efficient delivery of 100 HD channels to Città customers for the next 3 years at least.
Smartlabs SmartMEDIA Transcoder, employing NVIDIA NVENC technology, will be implemented as a cloud SaaS tool. So Città Telecom can enjoy all the benefits of the SmartMEDIA Transcoder and save on solution roll-out and maintenance. The solution will perform high-quality transcoding of the HD content into 3 adaptive bitrate profiles so the customers experiencing bandwidth issues could continue watching their video content with no freezing or interruptions.
